Switzerland part 2

Well! We got home on Saturday night this past weekend. Needless to say, we are still trying to recover! But this morning, after 9 hours of sleep, I felt up to this blog post!! So here it goes!

On Thursday and Friday, we went to Interlaken, which is the area that Bryan opened in his mission! On Thursday, we walked down to where he lived here, and took a picture of him in front of his apartment! It was so cool! Then we walked around Interlaken, and came to a beautiful open block with a view of the mountains! Then we ate Raclette, a traditional Swiss dish which consisted if potatoes, Raclette cheese melted, and pickled vegetables. It sounds nasty (and probably looks nasty) but it is was good!! Then we attempted to go up to Jungfraujoch which is a mountain peak that you can ride a train up to. But we got there too late and couldn't ride up.

Friday, we went back to Interlaken just so we could go up to the top of the mountains! It was a long train ride in a tunnel and we had one good view before we got to the top, but when we got to the top, it was snowing and cloudy! But it was still fun! We went through the ice palace, which was fun! And then went outside to feel cool. Hahah.

We did buy lots of chocolate.....like lots. 40+ dollars in Zürich and 20 bucks at the airport.
